I am an experienced evaluator and consultant providing services to non-profit organizations and educational institutions. Through my doctoral training and work experience I have extensive skills in research methodology (e.g.surveys, focus groups, interviews), statistical analysis, evaluation, program and curriculum development, grant writing and report writing. I am bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish and have over ten years experience working with the Latino community and diverse populations.
Some of my current evaluation contracts involve: 1) evaluating two community advocacy programs whose mission is to develop policy and advocacy skills among predominately Latino communities around the issues of health and nutrition; 2) evaluating eight pipeline programs, from middle to medical school, targeting educationally and/or socioeconomically disadvantaged students; 3) evaluating a new leadership and policy institute’s program activities.
